Helpful links

The following link is to SCOOP. This is an excellent online “news” website. Just a glance at the front page will demonstrate that many of the stories sourced by SCOOP relate to the serious problems with the Universal Credit and the ‘bedroom tax’ and there are many stories relating to local authorities and the dreadful way in which changes to the benefits system  are leading to more people falling into arrears with council tax.  The articles are very evenly balanced indeed. For example; if an individual has been found guilty of illegally claiming benefits these stories are also reported.

New articles appear daily. SCOOP can be accessed here

Internet Forums

One very popular forum that we are happy to recommend is Consumer Action Group. Their Bailiff & High Court enforcement section can be assessed here. If you are looking to post a query you will need to first register and a link can be found at the top right hand side of the page.

We would also recommend the Money Saving Expert forum and for all motoring enquiries, the Pepipoo forum.
